J O B   D E S C R I P T I O N  &  R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S

• Cleaning clients' homes including dusting, moping, vacuuming, doing dishes, scrubbing showers, cleaning toilets, polishing faucets, cleaning glass surfaces, etc.

• Pay: $14.50/hr + .50/hr for supplies

• Paid weekly (Fridays) - direct deposit

• Gas compensation: $5/home (except 1st house), $5 - $10 if house exceeds our service area

• Always following high cleaning standards taught during training in each home

• Arriving at homes on time

• Logging into the system to record times

• Cleaning rags and having them accessible during all job assignments

• Securely possessing clients' entry methods and having them accessible when needed

• Securely holding Radiant Home Cleaning's checks until the end of the work week

• Regularly cleaning the vacuum including the canister, filter, and brush rolls

• Purchasing and maintaining own cleaning supplies (compensated) and having them accessible during all job assignments

R E Q U I R E M E N T S

• Able to scrub, bend, kneel, twist, and stand for periods of time while performing the necessary cleaning duties - scrubbing showers, sinks, moping floors, vacuuming, reaching ceiling fans, dusting, etc.

• Must be hard working, trustworthy, responsible, dependable, detail-oriented, and have a friendly, welcoming demeanor as you will be interacting with clients and inside their homes

• Pass a criminal background check

• Pass drug screen

• Have a valid driver's license

• Willing to travel using your own legally insured, dependable vehicle

• Understand homes will be within 30 miles of Fincastle, VA but can be further on occasion if needed

• 1 year of experience in the cleaning industry (janitorial, residential, commercial, etc.) - personal house cleaning does not count

• Understand an occasional Saturday may be required if help is needed

• Undergo one-on-one training for a week (or more if needed)

• A good job history

• Able to work alone or alongside someone when needed

• No pet allergies as most of our homes have pets

• Able to be comfortable around dogs that greet you or jump up if not held back

• Speak/understand English

• Have a smartphone as our system to log times requires an app to be installed

• Able to wash rags daily or every other day as needed

• Smokers/Vapers must be able to go a whole cleaning without smoking/vaping and not smell of smoke

S C H E D U L E

• Day shift (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM) - Hours vary depending on day, demand, and peak times of year

• Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday if needed)

• 2 - 3 Houses a day

• Client's homes located in: Fincastle, Buchanan, Troutville, Daleville, Roanoke, Salem, Blacksburg and surrounding areas
